The waterfalls is more than 20 feet high and consists of three smaller waterfalls merging together to form a single waterfall that lashes over huge rocks, making it a breathtaking sight.

The best time to visit the falls is during monsoon i.e. June to September. During weekends the waterfalls is bustling with people of all ages who come here to spend a day while chilling in the cold icy water.

How to reach:

By Rail:

This is the best and cost effective way to reach Bhivpuri.
Nearest Railway Station: Bhivpuri Road Station or Karjat Station (Central Railway).

Bhivpuri Waterfalls is 10 minutes from Bhivpuri Railway Station and 20 minutes from Karjat Railway Station by auto rickshaw.

Many travellers prefer to alight at Karjat Railway Station only to enjoy some mouth watering hot and spicy vada pav’s which are sold all over the platform of Karjat Railway station.Travelers can enjoy an early brunch at Karjat and move towards the Bhivpuri waterfalls.

By Road:

Travelers from Mumbai can drive down to Bhivpuri.
During monsoon the drive is memorable as travelers will pass by scenic paths and will enjoy the beauty all the way.

But a word of caution here, since Bhivpuri is a small town and the roads leading to it may not be in the best condition, hence inquire about the road condition in advance before venturing out in your own vehicle.

Water Rappelling is conducted during monsoon and this adventure activity attracts a lot of adventure sport enthusiast from all over Maharashtra. Water Rappelling is different from normal rappelling as the rocky patches are slippery making it difficult and challenging.

Beware:

When at the falls be careful of some dangerous points. Do not venture deep into the hole created by the waterfall as there have been a few cases of drowning in the past.

On the way to the waterfall there are a few food stalls selling corn, chips and other snack items along with cold drinks.

The villagers offer to bring lunch to the waterfall but only on advance payment. They offer both vegetarian and non vegetarian fare which generally includes Biryani or Vegetarian Thali.
But it is advisable for tourist to carry their own snacks and water.

Camping:

Overnight camps are organized by professional groups post monsoon and tourist from Mumbai who would like to enjoy an overnight camp near the falls can enjoy activities like camp fire, star gazing and mid night masti with friends to the fullest.
