Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Gangtok

Arrive at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand (Junction) & we will pick you up and transfer to Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim Suits all from tranquility to adventure, land of monastery, mystic rituals & festivals at an height of 1670 meters / 5480 feet and is the most visited spot of India. It is one of the most beautiful town with varieties of Rhododendron, Orchids and butterflies - Nearly 120 kilometers 4 hours drive – Check into hotel – Evening free to roam around M G Road (Mall) or local Shopping center - Over Night stay at Gangtok.

Day 2: Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir & Optional Nathula Pass

Morning breakfast at hotel – Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir nearly 40 kilometers and 2 hours drive along the Kyongnosla Alpine Sanctuary, the home to the red panda and the blood pheasant with Rhododendron and other alpine trees - Situated at an elevation of 3753 meters / 12310 feet - The Lake is oval shaped lake nearly 50 feet deep - Generally covered in snow for most of the year the year – This lake is home to the Brahmini ducks & many migratory birds – Nearby is the sacred Baba Mandir known to be a very holy site for all - Back to Gangtok - Evening free to roam around M G Road (Mall) or local Shopping center - Over Night stay at Gangtok. Optional Excursion to Nathula Pass – Extra Charge applicable for this but dependent on Permit Obtained, if Permit denied on the Day of Travel, the Extra Charge will be Refunded Nathula Pass excursion will be charged extra at Rs. 500 to Rs. 800 per person depending on Group Size

Day 3: Gangtok to Lachen

After Breakfast start for Lachen, a beautiful small village. En route photo stop at Singhik View Point, Seven Sisters falls, Naga Falls, Bhim Nala, Manga, & Chungthang. Night stay at Lachen

Day 4: Lachen to Thangu & Chopta Valley & Optional Gurudongmer Lake Excursion – Evening to Lachung

Have early breakfast (At times Packed breakfast) and leave for Thangu Village (4100m / 13450ft), a remote high altitude village of Tibetan Nomads & Chopta Valley on your way to the Gurudongmar Lake. Thangu valley occupies a very broad valley at the junction of Thangu Chu, Chopta Chu, & Lassur Chu. It is situated at an altitude of 14000ft. Chopta Valley is situated at a height of 14,500 ft. This Valley is also known for its flowers. This is the second valley of flowers in North Sikkim after the more famous one at Yumthang. Both the valleys erupt in a riot of colours in the month of May, June & July. Also in the month of Dec & Jan you can play in the snow or even walk across the meandering frozen Chopta River. From Chopta Valley drive for another 30kms in 1.5hr to Gurudongmar Lake (5225m / 17143ft) close to Tibet Border. This lake is the Second highest lake in India after the Tso Lhamu Lake. If weather permits and permission is availed, proceed for Gurudongmar Lake (17,800 ft). Later proceed to Lachung and overnight stay at Lachung. Extra Car Charges if proceeding to Gurudongmer Lake of Approx Rs. 3,500 per Car (Payable that day itself)

Day 5: Lachung to Yumthang & back to Gangtok (Optional Visit to Zero Point)

Morning breakfast - After breakfast leave for Yumthang nearly 26 kilometers and is an hour drive - Yumthang valley is situated at an altitude of nearly 11800 feet with the river Lachung Chu flowing through the valley - Yumthang valley, hot spring, Yumey Samdong are nearby places of tourist Interest - Lachung is most sought after by tourist and the valley is either snow covered or the blooming Rhododendron always enhance the beauty of the place - On the way from Yumthang one may visit the famous hot spring known for its curative properties - Yumthang is a large valley surrounded by mountains where the tree line ends and the cold desert starts – In the winter months there is snow all around and the snow clad mountains adds to the beauty. Please Note: If Zero Point is to be visited then there would extra Taxi charge After lunch leave for Gangtok - Overnight stay at Gangtok

Day 6: Gangtok to Pelling & Pelling Local Sight-seeing

Morning breakfast & Transfer to Pelling at a distance of 110 Km, 3.5 Hours by Road. Places of visit are Rimbi water Falls, Rimbi Rock Garden, Kechopalri Lake, it is one of the holy Buddhist lake and it is believed that any wish in front of the lake comes true - Myth is that when a leaf falls on the placid clear water surface, it is picked by a bird and thus the water surface is always free of leaves, Kechopalri Monastery, Kanchenjunga water Falls – Back to hotel – Evening free to roam around the Shopping center - Over Night stay at Pelling.

Day 7: Pelling – NJP Station / Bagdogra Airport Drop, 140 Km, 4 Hours Drive

After breakfast transfer from Pelling 140 Km, 4 hours drive to NJP Station or Bagdogra airport, for your onward journey with some extremely beautiful memories of this unique state “ Sikkim “
