About the Activity:

It will be a great experience of mountain biking along with the bank of river kosi. You can enjoy the scenic beauty of mountains, birds, village life being always with the sound of river and can also check your stamina by biking to Aradev Top.

Day wise itinerary:

Day1: Check in the Eco adventure camp. The equipments will be transferred to the guests by the staff. Enjoy dinner and bonfire.

Day2: After breakfast 18 km biking to kausani (6200 ft) visit Anasakti ashram, where Gandhiji wrote the anasakti yoga treatise and kausani tea estate. After lunch back to the downhill (18 km) to Shimkholi camp. In the evening enjoy dinner and bonfire.

Day3: A round trip. After breakfast 45 km biking to uphill Aradav (7500ft) you will reach on the top at lunch time then biking down to Lodh, back to camp in the evening.

Day4: After breakfast, 09 km biking to Gananath (6500 fit) then back to the camp for lunch, evening- rest and relax.

Day5: After breakfast, departure.

Safety: Our field staff and guides have been visited the area to check all details. While every care has been taken to ensure safety, the high adventure, Almora, will not be responsible for any accident, illness and any other such unforeseen eventualities.

Things that we provide: Mountain bicycle, Helmet, Knee cap, Elbow guard, Bicycle riding gloves, Knap sacks.

The price includes breakfast, lunch and dinner and Adventure activities like Rock Climbing, Rappelling, Burma Bridge, River Crossing, etc. It also includes facilities like room, laundry, room service, and restaurant.

Mountain bikes, Sharing (3/4 pax) accommodation in tents, Meals (all), Guide.

Include- Camping (4 member sharing in one tent), Breakfast, lunch, Dinner, Simple Cycle and a guide.

They also accommodate tents.

Cost does not include:Transports, Personal expenses, mineral water, Insurance (any type), Medical and other rescue operations.

By Road:

10 hours by Delhi,

Kathgodam Station 90 km from Almora

And 30 km from Almora,

120 km from Kathgodham Station

By Air 

Nearest airport is Pantnagar, which is about 125 km away from the heart of Almora. Taxi costs about Rs 1600/ from airport to Almora. Pantnagar is connected to Delhi on alternate days.

By Train 

Nearest railway station is at Kathgodam. Kathgodam railway station to Almora city is about 91 km, which can be covered by nearly 3 hours and for a cab it costs about Rs 1500, one way. Kathgodam is connected to many cities in the state.

Eco Adventure Camp is situated on the mid way route (motor marg) from Almora to Kausani in Shimkholi. Simkholi is situated a distance of 30 K.M from Almora and 18 K.M from Kausani.
