Detailed Description
About the Activity:
Cholta Cholta, meaning ‘whilst walking’ in Konkani, the local language of Goa, allows you to explore and experience Panjim city and its surroundings in a meaningful way. Walking tours enable the visitor to touch base with local life and have close up views and stories shared.
Panjim is made for walking. It is a city of small streets, alley ways and remarkable history couched in old buildings and forgotten structures. Panjim cannot be explored by car or bus. You must cholta when in Panjim.
Our walking tours are designed to provide the visitor with first hand experiences and in-depth understanding. Tours are themed and scheduled ahead of time.
Cholta tours end with breakfast at a local restaurant to experience the true flavour of a Goan morning. All tours are conducted in English and are led by local experts who support walking and learning. Tours are typically timed to last around 2 hours.
