With just 10 luxuriously appointed cottages, featuring fine furniture, state-of-the-art bathrooms and high quality housekeeping items, this lodge offers a boutique holiday. The Savannah grasslands surround the lodge, offering good opportunities to watch blackbuck (Indian antelope), nilgai and rich birdlife from the cottage patios. The water body in the resort premises attracts a variety of birds. Endangered mammals like the Indian wolf and the striped hyena have been spotted in the vicinity of the lodge. Velavadar National Park Velavadar National Park is a grassland tract rich in wildlife including India's largest herds of blackbuck (Indian antelope), the endangered Indian wolf and striped hyena, and smaller mammals like jackal, jungle cat, Indian fox and hare. For birdwatchers, this national park is home to specialties like saras crane and Stolickza's bushchat. Between November and February, Velavadar is the largest roosting site for harriers

Built from local materials, the restaurant offers scenic views from its large windows. After a day of activity or relaxation, enjoy gourmet comfort food in the lodge’s dining area overlooking the water body, near the restaurant. o The menu features Indian vegetarian and non-vegetarian cuisine, besides regional Kathiawadi specialties. o Add to this smiling, well-trained staff that makes the whole experience of enjoying the meal worth it. o The restaurant is open from 6am to 10 pm for the residents as well as non-residents of the Blackbuck Lodge.
