Munroe Island is located at the confluence of Ashtamudi Lake and the Kallada River, in Kollam District, Kerala, South India. Its tranquility, serenity and beauty makes you feel as if you are in a fairy land.

You can float on the calm backwater and lakes and enjoy the scenic beauty. You can see the village life at close quarters. You can see fish farming, watch coir making, local life and local activities of the village along with a variety of migratory birds, plants, trees and wildlife.

There are two options for the Canoe Trips :

Morning Trip

Time – 9 am

Duration: 2 - 2.5 hours

Afternoon Trip

Time – At 3pm

Duration: 2 - 2.5 hours

Longer tours can also be arranged if required

Canoe Tour for 2 to 2.5 Hours with Guide

Exclusions:

Pick-up & Drop from the Hotel is not included

Pick-up & Drop can be arranged from Kollam or Varkala at an additional Cost

How to get there:

Munroe Island is located 27 Km by road from Kollam beach, approx 45 minutes by Taxi

From Varkala beach it is 53Km, approx 1hr.15 minutes by Taxi
