It is neither a boutique property nor is it a resort. It is a farm with an exotic coastal ambiance to it and an abundance of cashew nut, chickoos, banana, palms, guava, and custard apple trees. We are, situated short of the historic town of Murud, in the peaceful village of Nandgaon, is one of the most beautiful settings along the Alibagh coast with profuse plantation of coconut and betel nut trees. Hidden away on the unspoilt backwaters of the creak, you find natural beauty and serenity. The farm feel combined with understated luxury and personal service indeed makes it a magical experience. You can relax on the hammocks in the sprawling lawns with its spectacular view of forested hills in the background and the sea before you. Trek through the farm, the hill top gives you a breathtaking sea view. Reward yourself a tea/nimbupani break at 'asthanchal', the sunset point. A walk along the beach or wade through the sea water and cross the creek when in low tide!! A ride on the fisherman's boat can be organized for a true local experience. Or spend the day fishing at the Nawabs favorite point.

How to Get There Situated at Murud It is Situated 135 km from Mumbai By Sea A convenient way to reach is by ferry from Gateway to Mandwa/Alibagh. From Alibagh it is about 45kms and takes about an hour by road. The Taxi charges are about Rs 1800/- one way. We could also help organize taxis. (The ferry services are suspended during the monsoons) By Road The drive from Mumbai takes over 3 hours (early morning recommended). You have to drive up to Panvel and then take the road that passes through the Karnala Bird Sanctuary onto Pen. You cross Alibag (100 kms from Mumbai) and drive along the beautiful Kashid beach till you reach Nandgaon. Carry on towards Murud. Just about 200mts after the Mazgaon bridge you turn right onto a smooth and leveled kuchha road that takes you straight to Bagh. For those geared for a little more adventure, you drive 2 kms further till you arrive at Mohra bus stop from where you take a right-right turn onto a country road which is about a km in length and leads you straight to Mahua Bagh too. You can also go to Murud via Roha, a small town dotted heavily with large and shady trees. This route is 10 kms. longer, but you will pass through beautiful country side and will drive along and past the main entry for the Phansad Sanctuary. You then reach Mazgaon and follow the same directions as above..
