Emerald Trail makes for a memorable and a comfortable stay for adults and children of all age groups.

If you are keen for a relaxed holiday, you can indulge from the library of a vast collection of books, magazines and comics or laze in tents at the far end of the property.

Our kitchen allows guests to try their hands at their favorite meals. Outdoor barbeque of veges selected from our property also adds to the holiday charm.

Mountain bikes are also available to discover the mountainside and village. Trekking and exploring the quaint village surroundings through the winding forest area is another option around Emerald Trail.

Capture the exotic species of birds and butterflies if you are a nature photographer.

Fish in the near Chaapi River or even water the gardens or engage in the day to day farming activities of the property.

Children can have ‘a field day’ playing in the vast 3-acre area of the property. Badminton, football and outdoor games are the flavor. If they choose some quiet time, children’s books, indoor games, camping, tenting are other options. They are more than welcome to lend a helping hand to our staff working in the fields and tending to the day to day farming.

We are a pet-friendly home stay and we welcome pets. Special arrangements are made for their stay and meals at no additional charge. 

For the senior citizens, we offer wheel-chair access and have doctor on call.

How to Get There:

By Road: Travelling from Delhi

To ensure that you reach without difficulty and spend the perfect vacation at our eco-friendly bungalow in Bhimtal, Uttarakhand; please follow the directions:

1.On reaching Moradabad take the Moradabad bypass, there are 2 options – 

a) Take a sharp left where the road will take you via Bazpur to Haldwani / Kathgodam. This road since its not a national highway, is shorter by 20 kms. Word of caution : The road condition is not smooth and often you encounter many bad patches while driving.

b)Take the national highway, from Moradabad to reach Rampur, Rudrapur and then onwards to Haldwani.

2.Once you reach Haldwani, pass Kathgodam and take the diversion to Bhimtal. Follow the mountain roaduptoBhimtal. 

Once in Bhimtal with the lake on your right, take a round-about of the entire lake and come to take the road which takes you up to Naukutchiyataal. While on that road ask for the para-gliding spot or JungaliyaGaon. Also watch out for the big signage "Templeton International Academy". At this signage you will come across a fork, ignore the straight road and take the left road. Drive 7 kms uphill till you reach "KailashDwar" – a big stone arched gate to your right. 5 minute drive from there lands you at Emerald Trail to the right of the road..

By Rail: Travelling from Delhi

There are train options to get to Kathgodam Station the rail last stop. 

By Air : Travelling from Delhi

The only airport is Dehradun. You can get a range of flights from the domestic airlines arriving in Dehradun. However the drive from Dehradun airport to Jungaliagaon is around 400 kms and that could be extremely tedious

By Bus : Check with your local city bus schedules and see if any of the busses come to Haldwani or Kathgoam. From there you can take a taxi and follow the directions as above in points 2 and 3
