About the Activity

Safari Land Resorts explore the wild jungles and forests.

The vist would include accommodations at forest cottages and Tree Houses and following activities.

1. Walks

Walk around in the beautiful lush green surroundings with chances of some spotted deer glances here and there. It gives a feeling of being in Gods own country!!!               

2. Trek

A two hour trekking program into the forest with a guide (For the more energetic and adventurous). With one guide and one escort, trek along the perimeter of the reserve, across rocky streams, hillocks, gullies, bamboo thickets and scrub forest.

3. Safari

Drive through the Wildlife  reserve in  Forest department vehicles over dirt tracks and natural animal habitat.    

4. Bon-fire Event

5. Visits

Visit to a nearby mountain peak which has a beautiful view of the Blue Mountains of Nilgiris.     

6. Slideshows

7. Elephant Ride

Mudumalai wild life sanctuary is famous for its flora and fauna. The best possible way of observing wild life is from elephant back .At Theppakadu, (Mudmalai wild life sanctuary) the forest department organizes elephant rides and safari land has a tie up .Our valuable guests will be taken early morning and evening to these elephant rides , by prior appointments only .

Food and beverages are not included in the tariffs.

Breakfast, Lunch, Tea & Dinner) is charged at Rs.1000/ head/day for guests 10years and above.

Outside food and pets are not allowed

Pick up and drop services will be free for guests staying in the tree houses for minimum of 5 days or more from Coimbatore airport or Mysore city. Guests staying for shorter duration of time will have to pay the pick up and drop charges.

The main highway coming to the resort via Mysore closes at 9 PM till 6 AM at Bandipur National Park so guests are requested to be back at the resort before these timings

How to Get There

The place is located in Masinagudi  town ,28 km from Ooty HO.

From Ooty HO, take a left turn over the steel bridge at Teppakadu and drive for 7kms to reach Masinagudi town. After crossing another bridge after Masinagudi town, on the Ooty road take the second right towards Bokkapuram where the name plates of a number of holiday resorts are located and drive 4Kms and your will reach Dodulinge Village. Take the road on the left going down and drive 1km to reach the gate of Safari Land Farm on the left hand side about half a kilometer before the famous mariamman temple.
