The vast and ancient country that India is, it amazes you with the diversity of building forms that have evolved over the ages. Traditional Indian construction is affordable, ecological and richly decorated with arts and crafts. The almost unbelievable truth about this country is that if you drive out of any metropolis within 100 kilometers, you will see people actually living in habitats like their ancestors did thousands of years ago.

Balaji Country Homes has recreated these ecologically balanced, richly decorated traditions of India through four homes, Jal, Vayu, Prithvi and Akaash which are typical of western, eastern, northern and southern Indian buildings traditions respectively.

Each country home has a spacious porch, a large living & dining area, a bed room and a bathroom.

Following are the Activities Included in this Package:

Bird Watching: The farm is paradise for bird watchers. We loan you our binoculars and reference books.

Bullock Cart Rides: Heera & Moti will take you for ride to the rustic village.

Domestic Zoo Visit: Meet our dogs, cats, cattle, sheep, horses, doves, geese, turkey and a variety of fowl.

Other Activities are also Included such as

Board Games, Cycling, Darts, Farming, Fishing, Hay Stack, Kite Flying etc

The Chargeable Activities are

ATV Ride for 30 Minutes      -    INR 500/-Per Person

Horse Riding                       -    INR 150/- Per Ride

ZIP Line                              -     INR 100/-Per Ride

How to Get There

It is Situated 98 Km from Mumbai By Taking Mumbai – Pune Expressway.

You can get there in your own vehicle by road from Mumbai

From Mumbai drive towards New Bombay.

From Panvel take Mumbai Pune Expressway.

Take MAIN KHOPOLI exit after 300 yards after KHALAPUR TOLL (Before the food court) (Do not take the Khopoli Shedung Exit that comes much earlier)

After exit, take a Right-turn and cross the bridge to get on the other side of the expressway

After bridge, take the middle road to Pali (straight road goes to Pen and left road goes back to the expressway)

After 25 kilometers you will reach an HP Petrol Pump on the right side. Take the right turn immediately after the pump.

After 4 kilometers there is an intersection at a poultry farm. Take left. DO NOT TAKE the right road that goes to Kavele.

After 2 kilometer you will see a board that says “Wafegar”. On the right is the famous land-mark Sri Rameshwar Mahadeo temple ..... Take a left turn.

About 50 meters from there on the right hand side is the entrance to Balaji Farms & Country Homes.
