Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive at Guwahati and drive to Kaziranga (220kms/5hrs).

Reach in the afternoon and check in at the hotel - a jungle resort. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 2: Elephant & Jeep Safari at Kaziranga

Full day at Kaziranga National Park.Enjoy the Elephant Safari and Jeep Safari at different range of the park. Overnight at Hotel

Day 3: Drive to Majuli via Jorhat (120kms/3hrs)

After early breakfast drive to Majuli. The distance to the river front through the town of Jorhat will take approx. 120kms/3hrs before we board a ferry to the island in the midst of the mighty Brahmaputra river. The cruise by ferry to the island will take approx. 2hrs. Reach in the afternoon and check in at Guesthouse (Cottages). Evening visit the Monastery and interact with the inmates to know their culture and lifestyle. Visit the museum. Overnight stay at Guesthouse.

Day 4: Explore Majuli & Back to Jorhat

Forenoon visit tribal villages of the Mishmi tribe - the predominant tribe of the island. Depart for the mainland in the afternoon and drive back to Jorhat to reach in the evening. Overnight at Hotel

Day 5: Depart from Jorhat

Depart from Jorhat to the onward destination by Flight/ Train with fond memories & experiences!
