Alleppey is also called, Venice of The East, it has been the most favored tourist destination in Gods own Country. Its wide network of inland canals innumerable lagoons and large expanse of paddy field lined with stately coconut palms and serene backwaters have given it a pride that no other place can compete with.

You can relish the charm of the rural beauty of the backwater by floating in a typical traditional country craft which is built in Artocarpus wood (Anjili in Malayalam). A traditional way of canoeing through narrow canals and rural areas will be a thrilling experience. You can see the village life very closely. The lovely villages of Kerala have attractive sights along the cruise route

The trip starts from Palm grove lake resort Punnamada (3.5 kms from Alleppey Bus stand) and you travel through, Punnamada Jetty, Sports Authority of India, Umbikkarum Jetty, Mahadeva Temple, Kuttamangalam, High School – Kuppapuram, Kavunkal Temple - N.T. Ward, Palachuvadu Temple, N.T. Wardends back in Palm grove. 

There are Three Options for the Canoeing Tour

Sunrise Canoe Tour:

Time of the Tour - 6 am – 11 am

Includes bottled water, homemade breakfast & fruits.

Sunset Canoe Tour:

Time of the Tour - 2 pm to 7 pm 

Includes bottled water, tea and evening snacks 

One Day Circular Canoe Tour:

Time of the Tour - 6 am to 3 pm or 10 am to 7 pm

Includes bottled water, home made breakfast, fruits, lunch(veg on non-veg)
