About the Activity:

Manali trekking is rich in its scenic splendor. The region offers numerous trekking routes that are clearly well defined as well as unbeaten tracks that attract the more enthusiasts of the lot. Trekking in Manali offers marvelous routes through the rocky terrain, alpine meadows or even the dense forests and sanctuaries. The mountain ranges from several connectors or passes those are favorite to the trekkers.

The trek start from Mcleodganj to Guna Mata temple and back to Mcleodganj.

The Departure time of trek of Triund is 8:30 am everyday
This trek passes through Dal lake and Naddi village (ascent), again descent to Bhated river 20/30 minutes steep climb up to village Balgaon with a panoramic view of Kangra valley towards south.

From here another valley starts and at distance lays Kareri village. Before reaching to the Guna temple a fantastic view of Ghasutri pass-way to Chamba valley is seen. Guna Mata temple is dedicated to goddess Durga. This place is most suitable for meditation.

From Balgaon take another route via Galu Mata and Dharamkot village to reach Mcleodganj.
