Govind devji Temple

Most popular temple in the city, this temple is constructed in 18th century. This temple was formerly a palace and it is heard that this was transformed in to a temple by the then ruler of Jaipur. 


City Palace

This sprawling complex, with its gorgeous buildings and marvelous collection of art and artifacts is without parallel in Rajasthan. A major part of the 'City Palace' now consists of the 'Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II Museum'. It is also the residence of the Jaipur Royal Family.


Hawa Mahal

The poet king Sawai Pratap Singh built this palace of winds. This is  easily the most well-known landmarks of Jaipur and is also its icon. Located in the City Palace complex, it is best viewed from the road outside


Shopping at Bapu Bazaar & Johari Bazaar

The Old City's Johari Bazaar is the place to go for gemstones and jewellery. Beyond Zarawar Singh gate lies Chameliwala Bazaar, where you can find some of the city's finest silverwork, tribal, ornamental, and traditional Kundan jewellery.


Jantar Mantar

The Jantar Mantar of Jaipur is an observatory built in the first half of the 18th century. Today it has 19 main astronomical instruments or groups of instruments. They were generally constructed of brick rubble and plaster, but a few were made of bronze. They were built for naked-eye observations of the celestial bodies


Amber Fort

The Amer Fort is situated in Amer, which is 11 kilometers from Jaipur. Amer, originally, was the capital of the state before Jaipur. It is an old fort, built in 1592 by Raja Man Singh. This fort is also very popularly known as the Amer Palace. The Amer Fort was built in red sandstone and marble and the Maotha Lake adds a certain charm to the entire Fort.
