This 6 Days Itinerary is the Perfect one to Cover Kochi to Kovalam including Munnar and Alleppey

Alleppey also has a 1 Night Houseboat Stay with All Meals on Board

 

Day 1: Arrive at Kochi Airport, Transfer to Munnar, Overnight at Munnar

Your car will be waiting to pick you up at the airport and drive you to Munnar.

Munnar, the most praised paradise like hill station of Kerala. It lays like a typical green painting with thousands of acres of tea plantations hugged by the mist of Western Ghats & Cool foggy climate throughout the year makes Munnar is really a heaven of Kerala.

On the way you can enjoy the view of Cheeyappara and after reaching Munnar Check- In to your hill resort and relax or go for a tea plantation and town visit in the afternoon.

 

Transportation: Kochi Airport to Munnar is 110 kms, About 3 hours drive time

Day 2: Munnar Tea Plantation Visit and Sight-seeing

 

Breakfast at your resort and then we proceed for sight-seeing to Mattupetty Dam; a beautiful spot for viewing the picturesque Munnar, Kundala Lake- a natural lake with recreational facilities like boating (optional & at extra cost) and having excellent view of Western Ghats as well as the ever green forest surrounded with.

Later drive back to your resort for Overnight stay.

Day 3: Munnar to Alleppey Transfers & Houseboat Cruise with Overnight Stay

 

Today after breakfast we check out of the resort and drive towards Alleppey, the Backwaters wonder of Kerala. Alleppey is one of the reasons why Kerala has gained so much prominence in the Travel Fraternity.

Afternoon board the world famous Traditional Style Kerala Houseboat for an ever memorable backwater cruise through the beautiful lagoons and waterways, coir villages in Alleppey till Sunset. Overnight stay at the Houseboat.

    

Transportation: Munnar - Alleppey – 160 Kms, Approximately 4.5 hours by road 

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Overnight: Houseboat at Alleppey

 

Day 4: Alleppey to Kovalam Transfers

Today morning have breakfast at the Houseboat and it will drop you at the Jetty by 10 am. Your car & driver will pick you up at about 10 AM and from here we will proceed towards Kovalam. Alleppey to Kovalam is 160 Kms, approximately 4.5 Hours driving time.

Check – in to your Resort & evening proceed to Kovalam beach & the Lighthouse Beach, another interesting place at Kovalam is the Kovalam fish market for fish lovers.

Day 5: Kovalam to Kanyakumari for sight-seeing & back to Kovalam

Breakfast at the resort and we drive down to Kanyakumari, 50 Kms, 1 Hour by road. We visit the mighty Vivekananda Rock Memorial, a very calm and serene place. Here you can opt for a Ferry ride to take you till the Memorial (optional & tickets need to be bought at the spot). After which we proceed to Thiruvalluvar Statue and if interested then you can also opt to visit the wax museum at Kanyakumari. Evening enjoy the beautiful Sunset at Kanyakumari & later we proceed back to Kovalam. Overnight at the Kovalam resort.

 

Transportation: Kovalam – Kanyakumari – 50 Kms, Approximately 1 hour by road

Day 6: Kovalam to Kochi Transfers

Enjoy your breakfast at your resort and later proceed to Kochi airport to board your flight in time for onwards journey back home…
