About the Activity

Set off from the resort after breakfast towards Bekal, about 22km away. The trail winds through empty backroads across the hinterland of the Malabar coast.

We will reach Bekal a little after noon, just in time for a nice lunch. We will return to the resort by car after lunch – the usually hot afternoons are perfect for a short siesta.

Towards evening, we will head out on the cycles again, this time through the little roads that wind through the backwaters. A hour and half of relaxed cycling will bring us to the beaches – miles and miles of them stretch in splendid isolation. You are quite likely to be the only people on the beach, apart from some local fishing  folk.

Swim in the warm sea (not in June – Nov season) and savour the sunset over the Arabian sea before heading back to the resort.
