Itinerary for Full Day Package: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

8:30 am : Report at Rafting Start Point

8:30 am – 9 am : Brief Instructions and wear Life Jackets

9:00 am to 12 noon : Long Run Rafting

Kindly Note: Rafting is done on the Water Released by the Dam, hence, if Guests do not report on time, they would have to miss the Rafting which is Non-Refundable

12:30 noon – 1 pm: Transfer to Campsite

(Own vehicles need to be used, or Autos can be hired at Kolad)

1pm – 2:30 pm : Lunch & Changing of Clothes

Changing Rooms available at the Campsite

2:30 pm – 5 pm :  Kayaking, River Crossing & Flying Fox (Activities as per your package)

 

The Kundalika white water rafting is the main activity at Kolad. The water released by the Rawalje dam for irrigation is being used for rafting with self bailing rafts.. The Kundalika river offers calm stretches for relaxed floating in the beautiful surroundings and an ecologically breathtaking journey, along with refreshing splashes of water and great fun in rapids.

 

How to Get There

Kolad is located south of Panvel to Goa on NH 17 connecting Nagothane - Kolad - Mangaon.

It lies on the banks of River Kundalika.

Distance by Road

From Pune (100 Km, 3 Hrs)

From Mumbai (110 Km, 3 Hrs to 3.5 Hrs by Road)

 

Directions to reach by Road

Take the Panvel to Mumbai Goa Highway NH 17 Road till Kolad Naka.

At the Junction two roads will be there , DO NOT Take the Alibaug Road but TAKE the road towards Roha

 

Applicable Seasons

Operates throughout the year 

 

Exclusions:

- Transportation from End Point of rafting to Start Point is Not Included

( Before Rafting you park your car at the Start point of Rafting and then you Raft down 13 Km and in case you have a driver then he can bring your car down, else you will have to hire an Auto or Share Jeeps to go back to the Start Point where your car is parked)

 

- Transportation from the Campsite to the Rafting Point and back is not included and personal cars will have to be used

It can be arranged at the campsite at an extra cost if needed.

 

Please Note:

It is important to reach Rafting Start Point at sharp 8:30 am so as NOT to miss the Rapids for the Rafting

(In case, Guests are not able to make it by 9 am at Rafting Start Point then Rafting will not be possible after 9 am as it will not be possible to conduct the Rafting and it is Not Refundable)

 

- In case Guests book for Weekends / Selected Public Holidays but at Weekday Prices, then the booking will be rescheduled to the next available Weekday OR the Booking Cancelled and Amount Forfeited

(As there is No Weekday Package for Weekends / Selected Public Holidays)
