Detailed Description

The Farm is mainly a horticultural farm, with about 5000 trees growing in  its  15  acres. Mango, Cashew, Coconut and Teak, are its mainstay. However, Breadfruit , Jackfruit , Betel Nut, Chickoo, Lemon, Guava, Mulberry, Pineapple, Banana, Papaya and Kokum have a sizeable presence. Floriculture is also given importance with Gladiolus, Orchids, Anthorium and Roses while Cinnamon, Pepper and Cloves make up the rest.

Though organic farming is the mainstay, as far as inputs, are concerned, chemical pesticides are presently in use. A guide, is at all times available to show our guests around the farm. A walk around the farm could be a very highly entertaining and educative experience, especially for children of the age group of 5 to 12 years, as much of what is explained, is part of their curriculum in Botany.  The nuances of conservation of water, terracing of land to prevent soil erosion, grafting of  plants, the  benefits of using fertilizers, the various pests affecting trees and their fruits, and the strategies developed to combat it, is thoroughly explained.

 Inclusions:

Inclusive of accommodation, and all meals(including starters) unlimited, and the unlimited use of all facilities in the farm,(like fishing, artificial waterfall, water slide, swimming pool, indoor and outdoor games)
 

Exclusion:

Boating will be charged at Rs.50 per person for 20 mins. 
The tariff differs according to the accommodation sought.

Note: Children below 3 years no charge. Children above 3 years and under 6 years 25% off the adult charge. Children above 6 years and under 10 years 50% off the adult charge. Children 10 years and above will be fully charged. Servants, drivers, ayahs will be charged Rs. 600/- per person per day without starters and Rs.750/- with starters and will be provided accommodation with the rest of the staff Servants and Drivers of day picnickers will be charged Rs. 350/- .

How to Get there

From Mumbai (total 120km): 
Mumbai to Panvel.
Take Mumbai-Goa Highway. 
Cross Pen and Wadkal. 
Turn left at Wadkal Naka to stay on Mumbai-Goa Highway. 
Cross Nagothane and 3km ghats section. 
Cross Khamb Village and after 1.5km from Khamb Village, you will see Namrata Garden, a small dhaba
Make a left at the dhaba and Anival school

Take Pune Expressway towards Mumbai. 
Exit at Khapoli. 
Cross Pali and exit at Vakan (47km from Khapoli to Vakan). 
Follow road through 3km ghats section. 
Cross Khamb Village and after 1.5km from Khamb Village, you will see Namrata Garden, a small dhaba
