And since discovering and identifying authentic food on your own is not always easy, we’ll help you experience all the flavours the city has to offer by guiding you through Mumbai’s favourites with a local. You’ll get to try Mumbai classics such as bhel puri and pav bhaji, as well as some lesser-known foods unique to the bustling Mohammed Ali khao gaullis (eating lanes.) *Note: Many foods we’ll pass by and a few items we’ll try in Mohammed Ali area are non-vegetarian. However, there are plenty of options for vegetarians so just please let us know while booking. All snacks at Chowpatty Beach are vegetarian
CHOWPATTY BEACH A foodie’s visit to Mumbai is not complete without a stop at Chowpatty Beach- the best place to taste Mumbai’s (vegetarian) favourites such as pav bhaji and pani puri.
Witness the buzz of activity surrounding Minara Masjid, one of over 100 mosques in Mumbai and the epicentre of the city’s Ramadan celebrations.
Observe vendors cooking up all sorts of meats; don’t be surprised to see kidney, liver, brain, or trotters sizzling on their tavas!
Stroll through the lanes Bhendi Bazaar, a historic Muslim neighbourhood and the site of a major $600 million dollar redevelopment plan.
Satisfy your sweet tooth super-sugary, bright orange jalebi, or quench your thirst with flavourful falooda.
