Deatailed Itinerary

Day 1: Leh Arrival & transfer to hotel and then Local Sight-seeing

Arrive at Leh airport, your car and driver will be waiting to pick you up & transfer you to your Hotel.

Check in to the Hotel and today will be rest day to acclimatize with the environment. Walk around Leh town and the local Leh Market and time permitting also visit: Leh Palace and Sankar monastery.

Transportation: Airport to Leh city & Local Sight-seeing

Meals Included: Breakfast, Dinner

Overnight: Leh

Day 2: Alchi Monastery, Likir & Rafting

After Breakfast we proceed for an excursion to visit the Alchi Monastery, which is 68 km from Leh. Also en-route visit the great statue of Maitreya Buddha at Likir Monastery. We also visit: Sangam of Indus & Zanskar Rivers which are the two major rivers in Ladakh.

We do our first adventure here: Rafting on the Indus

Later we also visit the splendid “ Magnetic Hill” which is unique because of the influence of the major magnetic field which causes cars to balance in neutral gear without sliding down. Later also visit the Military hall of fame.

Evening we return back to Leh and enjoy dinner at our Hotel.

Transportation: Leh to Alchi, Likir & Rafting & back to Leh

Day 3: Leh to Khardongla Pass to Nubra Valley

Have Breakfast and check-out and we drive to Nubra Valley, it is 125km drive, crossing Khardongla Pass at 18360 Ft, it’s The World’s Highest Motorable Pass. Afternoon we will visit Diskit & Hunder Monasteries and visit the the White Sand Dunes of Nubra Valley. Also enjoy a Camel Safari on the double humped Camels which are found only In Nubra as far as India is concerned.

Adventurous overnight stay at the Camps, the perfect way to enjoy the wilderness of Ladakh

Transportation: Leh to Nubra is 120kms, Diskit &

Hunder Monasteries & visit to Sand Dunes with Camel Safari

Overnight: Nubra Camps

Day 4: Nubra Valley to Leh and Market visit of Leh

After breakfast with beautiful views from the Camps we check-out and visit Samstanling Monastery and later drive back to Leh via the Khardongla Pass.

Evening is free for shopping at the Leh bazaars for some of the specialties of Ladakh like: pure Pashmina Shawls, Good Pearls, Chinese Cutleries and Beautiful Ladakhi wooden handicrafts can be purchased.

If Rafting on Day 2 was missed, it can be opted for today also

Day 5: Leh to Pangong Lake - Leh

Early morning we proceed for a full day excursion to Pangong Lake which is 135 km / 4400m east of Leh crossing Changla Pass at 17500ft and driving via Durbuk and Tangtse villages in the Changthang region of Ladakh, we stop by and meet some local villagers to understand their local culture & livelihood, it’s a great way to know the difference between city life & life at Ladakh, full of peace and contentment.

Later we arrive at Pangong Lake, which is perhaps one of the most amazing lakes in asia which changes its color 4 – 5 times a day. After spending some time at the Lake observing this natural beauty you could also try some adventure activities. Late afternoon we proceed back to Leh.

If guests have afternoon flight from Leh, Night stay can be arranged at Pangong Lake too in Camps.

Transportation: Leh to Pangong is 135kms, evening return back to Leh

Overnight: Leh or Camps at Pangong Lake

Day 6: Leh to Airport/Railway Station

After breakfast, check-out of the Hotel and e transfer you to the Airport for your onward flight, the trip ends with extremely find memories and an experience you will cherish for a longtime.
