How to Reach
By Rail:
Mahabaleshwar is 120 km from Pune via Panchgani, and is the closest Railway station. The city of Pune is the normal departure point for Mahabaleshwar although Satara Railway Station is the closest and convenient railway station.
By Road:
Mahabaleshwar is well connected by road with Mumbai and Pune, and other important cities of Maharashtra. There are private taxis and luxury buses available in addition to the Maharashtra State transport semi-luxury, luxury and ordinary buses. After the construction of a new highway, tourist can drive down to Mahableshwar, as it is only a five-hour drive from Mumbai.
Once in Mahableshwar, tourists can reach the waterfalls via Carviali Road, which are located 2.5 km away from the Mahabaleshwar city. The waterfalls can also be approached through Tiger Path Road via Babington Point.
