Agro-Tourism Farm Visit for a Day and Be a Farmer Pragramme

We are situated at Utan, near Mira Road, Mumbai

Just on the outskirts of Mumbai lies our farm which is diverse and offers you the opportunity to explore new activities and expand your horizon.

A beautiful 150 + acre campus, hardly 35 kms from Mumbai, nestled with multi-fold ‘Social Service Projects’ in the field of education, forest plant based herbal medicine, agricultural research and education, caring Indian cow and its progeny, taking care of elders, environmental related research and management training with human resource development etc. Since last 30 years. 

Consists of rich bio diversity with a lush green valley with agricultural land, fruit bearing trees of mango/coconut/banana, herbal plants, water pond, three calm & holy temples, and a forest all of which provide a non-polluted and peaceful atmosphere.

Itinerary

9 AM: Arrival and Welcome and proceed for Breakfast

9: 30 Am: Breakfast at Dining Area

Sprouted Lentils, Upma, Tea / Coffee

10 AM: Visit the Farms and try your hand at Farming

Our experienced guide will let you know all about farming types and stages in farming. We even encourage your group to try your hand at farming, may be Harvesting a few crops

12 Noon: Proceed to Herbs garden where we show you different types of Herbs and also teach you how to identify trees of each herb

1:30 PM: Lunch at Dining Area

Traditional Lunch: Sabji of Farmfresh Vegetables, Bhakhri, Pitla, Thecha, Dahi, Dal, Rice

2:30 PM: Energy Trail: Alternative Energy Sources

See bio-waste conversion to energy. Also experience solar dryers, solar pumps, solar cookers and we can even arrange you to cook using these solar cookers. 

4:30 PM: Visit Cowshed – Gaushala and understand different types of Cows and different grades of Milk, get involved in cow-shed activities

There are 225 Indian breed cows and are well cared for here in well-developed cow shelters

5:30 PM: Evening Tea and Departure
