About the Activity:

Our camp is located in a village named Alchona which attracts various migratory birds like Blue Magpie, Blue Whistling Thrush, Graceful Prinia, Grey Bushchat, Grey Wagtail, Oriental White eye, Red Rumped Swallow, Russet Sparrow, Scarlet Minivet, Streak Throated Woodpecker, Tawny Eagle, White Breasted Kingfisher, White Browed Wagtail, Yellow Billed Blue Magpie, Yellow Vented Himalayan Bulbul, etc.

With camping other activities to do like :- 

•Doing Nothing mode - Relax at the view point and enjoy the joy of doing nothing.

•Paragliding - Fly like a bird in tandem with trained instructors (at an extra charge).

•Rock Climbing

•Rappelling

•Jummaring

•Flying-fox

•River Crossing

•River and Jungle treks - from short to long treks.

•Nature Walks - exploring various tracks with a guide from the camp or finding your own, along the river or past the little village school to the swing bridge.

•Kumaon Lunch at local village house can be arranged.

All outdoor adventure activities depend on weather conditions. Minimum of 10 participants are required for rope activities in one go. Terms and Conditions apply.

Inclusions & Exclusions:

Along with the activities mentioned, additional activities like paragliding, boating, rowing etc can be arranged in Bhimtal or Sattal which are major attractions of the area. A trip to Mukteshwar can also be arranged which is the highest peak in our district with a wonderful view of Himalayan range on a clear day on the extra charges.

Children below 5 years of age stay complimentary and are accomodated with full paying adults.

Children between ages 6-12 are charged Rs 1400/- per child per day sharing tents with parents

Stay in tents on sharing basis. A maximum of 1 extra bed can be adjusted in few tents.

Meals: Breakfast / Lunch / Evening Tea / Coffee / Dinner - on fixed menu basis.

Activities with an optional addon of Paragliding during season.

The above cost includes:

3 Meals on Full Board, Accommodation on sharing basis in Tents, All activities mentioned on the activities page except Paragliding, Cost of Paragliding is Rs 1,500 per person per tandem ride

Price does not include:

Bottled water, soft drinks, beverages, etc, Personal expenses like tips, telephone calls, etc, Any extra services or meals / snacks not mentioned above, Transportation costs, Travel insurance.

Extra’s:

Drivers/maids accompanying clients can be provided accommodation and food at an extra charge of Rs.750/- per person per day.

How to Get There:

Back to Nature Camp is located on Bhimtal - Khutani - Mukteshwar road. It's about 7-hour drive or train ride from Delhi. So it's an ideal weekend getaway.

How to reach:

By Train: The following trains leave from Delhi for Kathgodam:

Kathgodam station is approximately 1 hour drive from the camp. Cabs are available at Kathgodam station to take you to the camp or we can arrange for your transportation from Kathgodam if booked in advance at an additional cost. For return train timings from Kathgodam, please email us.

By Car: Drive yourself to the camp from Delhi (approx - 300 Kms). Depending on the traffic situation, it can take you 6 to 7 hours to reach the camp from Delhi. 

By Cab: To and fro cab from Delhi can be arranged if required.

Delhi --> Ghaziabad --> Hapur Bypass --> Garh Mukteshwar --> Gajraula --> Moradabad Bypass --> Rampur --> Rudrapur --> Haldwani --> Bheemtal --> Khutani --> Chafi toll bridge --> Back to Nature Camp
