About the Activity

Day-1

The vehicle comes to your hotel/resort at 6.30am. Proceed to Parambikulam through Palakkad gap and Anamalai. It is about 180kms drive from Kochi to the base station. On the we will stop for breakfast and state entry pass. Check in at the Tiger Reserve in Safari tent (2persons) . Lunch will be served in the common eating place. Prepare for evening ride through the park in safari vehicle. The ride extends for 3 hours and visits Kannimara Tea-biggest teak tree in the world, Parambikulam lake and other wildlife pockets. The sanctuary closed after 6pm in the evening for public entry. So the evening ride is exclusive for those who stays there. The dusk ride ( 9between 6.30-7pm) gives good chances of sighting of big cats.
Return to the camp

Dinner

Listen to the call of the jungle. Nobody will be allowed to come out of the tent after dinner without the tribal guide.

Day-2

After the morning session prepare to walk to the Remote camp. There is a mud path through the dense forests and bamboo groves to the cottage. It would take nearly 2hrs or more depending on the concentration of wildlife in the path, to reach the camp. 2 tribal guards accompany the team. The participant has to carry a small bag with essentials for one night stay. The cottage is furnished with coat, mattress and blankets. All meals and beverages will be served there.

During the hiking there is good chances for sighting of wildlife. After check in the crew prepares food for the day. Meantime the tourist can take rest in the sit out watching wildlife near the water hole. After evening tea the guides will take the tourist for nature walk around the marsh. Return to the camp. Rest of the day in the camp observing and listening the wildlife.

Day-3

Wake up to the call of the jungle. After bed coffee/tea prepare for a walk through the marsh. Return to the camp for breakfast. After breakfast and rest check out from the camp.
Return to the base camp.

Return to Kochi.

Reach Kochi by 6.30pm
