About the Activity

DAY-1

6.30 am

Pick up from Kochi. Comfortable cabs will be provided. Maximum group size is 4 persons. Exclusive 2 pax trip will also arranged as per request. Proceed to Marayoor through the beautiful landscapes of midland and high ranges of western ghats. Vegetarian breakfast will be provided on the way.

Stops at Valara waterfalls Neryamangalam rainforest and spice plantation. A guided walk through the plantation. Lunch stop at Munnar (not included) Proceed to Marayoor.

Stops at tea plantation for soft walk and birding. Check in at farm stay - a welcome drink - fine country coffee from the farm.
Campfire dinner vegetarian dinner will be provided. You are most welcome for a chat with the farmer who run the stay and the guide who can explain the culture of the land.

DAY-2

Wake up to the call of birds. Have a nice cup fo tea/coffee. Prepare for a short walk through the village.

Breakfast. Proceed to Chinnar wildlife sanctuary for overnight jungle camp and trekking. Stops at Dolmen site- a world famous megalithic site having dolmens and cists.

Check in at the sanctuary base station. Prepare for a trek through the wildlife zone to the camp. You are expected to leave big bags in the car or in the base station. Carry a small back pack for enough to carry your essential things. Our guards and nature guide will accompany you in the trekking. There are chances of sighting of animals on the way. Our nature guides are capable of tracking animals.

Check in at the camp. Relax a while in the balcony. Mean time the guards will prepare tea and snacks. Prepare for an evening trek to spot wildlife (optional) or relax in the open balcony looking at the hills and impregnable open forest.

Campfire can be arranged- which will keep animals away from the campsite. Time for dinner - freshly cooked chapathy , vegetable curry and fries will be served. Rest of the night can be spend - either to watch stars and listen call of the wild or to bed ....

DAY-3

Wake up to the call of the wild. Have a nice tea/coffee while witnessing the dawn. Prepare for a short walk around the camp and waterholes to watch wildlife.Breakfast.

Return to the base station through a different path. On the way visit to village of Malapulayaa jungle tribe. Have a stop near the pristine chinnar river.

Our car will wait you near the path. Fresh up and lunch in Marayoor.

Return to Kochi.

Expected to be reach in Kochi about 7pm.
