About the Activity

Forest Hills Farm & Guesthouse is a family run rustic theme resort located in a beautiful and secluded part of the famous Nilgiri foothills in India and very close to the Mudumalai Tiger Reserve offering a unique opportunity to explore and appreciate the unspoilt virgin rainforests that are home to a variety of wildlife. Time means nothing here. It is the celestial bodies that control nature. It is a delightful mix of old-fashioned hospitality and contemporary amenities typical of the colonial bungalows and clubs.

The activities that guests can experience are as follows

Safaris

Govt Van Safari’s organised by the Forest Dept in Mudumalai and Bandipur Tiger Reserves. Duration of these drives is between 45 mins to an hour and spotting wildlife is common.

Nature Walks

Walk up the mountains enjoying the flora and fauna the jungle has to offer. Chances of spotting wildlife (elephants, bears, deer, gaur…if lucky a tiger or panther) and a large variety of birds.

How to Get There

At Theppakadu, turn left across the Steel Bridge and travel towards Masinagudi - 7kms. Cross Masinagudi town and proceed on the Ooty road and take the second turn to the right (a post indicating names of resorts is on the left hand side) and you will reach a village by the name of Dodulingi - 3kms. Keep left and proceed till you reach the entrance gate of Jungle Hut - 1.5km. Take a left turn and the road will lead you to Forest Hills - 0.5kms.
