Detailed Description

About the Activity:
 

Day01: Manali- Naggar –Drive 26kms and Trek to Nashala (4-5hrs)-2300mts.
Team to travel to Naggar, (1840m) the old ancient Capital of the Kullu Valley which commands an imposing position with great views of the Kullu Valley further trek through forests towards the village of Nashala. O/N in a Camp.

Day02: Nashala to Kotadhar –Trek for 4-5Hrs. O/N in Camp.
Today we trek towards Kotadhar a pleasant walk, through local villages. Good Camp Site.

Day03: Kotadhar to Matikochar (2600mts) - 4-5Hrs
Nice walk through the Himalayan deciduous forest in the Wildlife sanctuary, good opportunity to spot bird life. O/N in camp

Day04: Matikochar to Bijli Mahadev (3-4hrs) (2460mts) on none metalled Track.
A gradual walk through Kais wildlife sanctuary leads to a temple of Lord Shiva. From Bijlimahadev one can have the beautiful view of the twin valleys of Beas and Parvati.

Day05: From Bijli Mahadev descend down the footsteps to Chansari Village (1hr) and Drive to Manali.

What to bring for the trek?
Good Warm internal clothing (woolen and fleece, thermals), water proof and wind proof clothing, Comfortable hiking boots with good resistance against the snow and water with a good grip, haversack,  sandals, walking sticks, gaiters , woolen/tennis socks (quite a few pairs) and stocking, gloves, cap, sunglasses (very important) , Sunscreen lotion, day sack, camera and binocular (OPTIONAL),  water bottle, torch and batteries, though the water is very clean and pure and we do provide boiled water once you are in trek  still in order to be extra careful you can get few chlorine pills as mountain water is supposed to be hard.

Inclusions & Exclusions:

Transportation from Manali to Naggar drop and pick up from Chansari to Manali drop.

Accommodation in two men tents (high altitude alpine tents of good quality), heavy foam pad mattresses, good quality high altitude sleeping bags, breakfast/tea, all meals (good quality food), services of experienced guide and cook, assistants, all the camping equipment, utensils and crockery, kitchen cum dining tent, toilet tent,  ponies or porters, adequate medical kit, Transportation during the Trek.

Can be arrange for 2 person also at min cost and for that contact the person directly.
