4 Days Rani Sui (Lake) Trek, Manali, Himachal Pradesh

4 Days Rani Sui (Lake) Trek, Manali, Himachal Pradesh

Detailed Description

About the Activity:

Day01: Manali to Lama Dugh (5hrs)

The first day of the trek goes through cool forests of giant deodar (cedar), alder and oak. The trail climbs gently at first through the Manalsu valley along the Manalsu torrent. Extensive views of the Kullu Valley appear and slowly fade into the distance as the degree of the gradient decreases; the gentle slope of the first campsite in the lush green meadows of Lamadugh is reached. From here beautiful views of the surrounding peaks open up. O/N in camp

Day02: Lamadugh to Ranisui Lake (3700 mts) 5hrs:-
The trail now begins to ascend steeply through woodland and meadow with wild alpine flowers strewn all around. On the way brilliant shrubs of Rhododendron and Birch pave the way to the ridge, looking out across spectacular peaks, after which we rest at the base of Khan- Pari Tibba (4000mts)., later a descent takes you to the Lake of Rani-Sui.  O/N in camp

Day03:  Ranisui Lake to Shegli village (2400 mts) 5-6 hrs. O/N in camp

Day04: Shegli–Pangan Village (3 hrs) trek, then Drive to Manali
We walk down on a well defined trail through Shegli and Niyalag villages to Dharsha; the jeep will be waiting there. It is 3-4 km’s (approx.) drive on narrow link road up to Defridhar, take a right turn to follow Pangan – Patlikuhl road, after driving for 10 minutes again take a left turn into the single line road for Pangan monastery, visit the place and drive to Patlikuhl, from here we drive on National highway to Manali.
