This Heritage Home, built in the year 1880 by Sir Walter Mounde in the colonial style, just outside Ooty town, has been home to many a rich and famous persons ... including the former Prime Minister of India the late Jawaharlal Nehru.

Glyngarth Villa has retained its old charm from the impressive period furniture to the polished wooden floors, its still attracts those who wish to experience life as a bygone era. Wake up to the chirping of birds, the bustling of leaves, and let the fresh mountain air soothe your heart and soul.

The stay includes activities like Camp fires, Barbecues, sight seeing trips to Ooty, Coonoor and further afield can be organized. For the more adventurous, activities like Jungle Safaris, Elephant Rides, River Rafting, Horse Riding and Trekking can be arranged at additional cost. For those passionate about Golf, the Ootacamund Gymkhana Club situated within 200 metres offers splendid Golfing.
